Mayra is a civil engineer turned jewelry maker — and one of the most talented artisans we work with. When a layoff during the pandemic forced her to pause her career, she picked up wire wrapping and discovered something she couldn't put down. What started as a way to get through a hard season became Majo Collections, her woman-owned jewelry brand based in El Salvador.

Her engineering background shows in the precision of her work — every piece is thoughtfully constructed and built to last. She is the maker behind some of our best-selling jewelry, and every piece she creates carries the care of someone who chose this path on purpose.
