About the El Salvador Experience

This experience is an invitation to travel differently—discovering El Salvador through connection, culture, and community.

Inspired by the relationships we've built through Salutierra, our small-group journeys are thoughtfully designed to help you experience the country beyond the guidebooks. Share meals inspired by Salvadoran traditions, connect with local artists and entrepreneurs, explore beautiful landscapes, and create space for rest, reflection, and meaningful conversation along the way.

Whether you're visiting El Salvador for the first time or returning with a new perspective, we hope you'll leave with a deeper appreciation for its people, creativity, and culture.

Explore our upcoming experiences below.

  • Hosted by Rachael Vigil — Travel alongside Salutierra's founder, whose years of relationships with artists, entrepreneurs, and local communities have shaped every part of this journey. From introductions to behind-the-scenes stories, she'll guide you through the places and people that continue to inspire Salutierra.
  • Farewell Dinner — Celebrate the friendships, memories, and experiences you've shared throughout the week before heading home.

This is an invitation to travel with intention — experiencing El Salvador through connection, culture, and community rather than consumption

Why Travel with Salutierra

Salutierra began with a simple mission: to celebrate and share the creativity, craftsmanship, and stories of El Salvador. Over the years, that mission has grown into meaningful relationships with artists, entrepreneurs, and communities across the country—relationships that now shape every journey we create.

When you travel with Salutierra, you're not following a standard itinerary. You're experiencing El Salvador through the people we've had the privilege of getting to know, with thoughtfully curated moments that celebrate culture, creativity, and genuine connection.

Our small-group experiences are designed to help you slow down, travel with intention, and discover a side of El Salvador that is personal, welcoming, and deeply inspiring.
