About the artisan
CasaBarro is a ceramics studio based in San Salvador, El Salvador. Their El Zonte collection is inspired by the beach of the same name on El Salvador’s coast, known for its dark volcanic sand, rocky shoreline, and natural caves. Each piece is handmade from white clay mixed with sand from El Zonte’s beaches, so a little of the coastline is part of every piece.
